Hoot 'n Holler Issue 2

Hope you enjoy this second issue of "Hoot 'n Holler" which my mother and I wrote together. We collated the pages by hand. At first, we had the printing company do the stapling. That printing company is no longer "there" - just a flat lot by the railroad tracks off Kenwood & Creek Rd. intersection.

Eventually I found a wonderful big stapler that "reached to the center" of the pages - more labor for us, but saved a few cents on each issue. Those were the days when we could sent out an issue for 25 cents. Some of our family and friends did become subscribers which helped "a bit". We received a lot of nice notes and items to include. It was fun to work together with Mama Lois.

Mama always wanted me to publish "Bureaucat" in a separate book. Never did it, but I'm sharing now.

"A Fog of Apes" is one my favorite poems. Found it in a magazine years ago and had it on my bulletin board as a reminder of human behavior!

Onward!
